Application Fee
The application fee varies based on the category and the number of papers applied for.
- For Paper I or II - General/ EWS/ BC/ EBC: ₹ 960/-
- For Paper I or II - Other State (All Category): ₹ 960/-
- For Paper I or II - SC/ ST/ PWD: ₹ 760/-
- For Both Paper I & II - General/ EWS/ BC/ EBC: ₹ 1440/-
- For Both Paper I & II - Other State (All Category): ₹ 1440/-
- For Both Paper I & II - SC/ ST/ PWD: ₹ 1140/-
Age Limits As On 01 August 2026
Age limits for candidates applying for Bihar STET are defined as follows.

- Maximum Age: 37 Years (Male)
- Maximum Age: 40 Years (Female UR, BC/ EBC-Male & Female)
- Maximum Age: 42 Years (SC/ ST-Male & Female)

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet specific educational qualifications to apply for Bihar STET.
- Bihar STET - For Secondary Teacher (Class 9–10, Paper-I): Bachelor’s degree in the subject with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed. degree.
- Bihar STET - For Senior Secondary Teacher (Class 11–12, Paper-II): Postgraduate degree in the subject with Second Division along with a B.Ed. degree (not required for Computer Science).
- Relaxation: 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/EBC/BC/Divyang categories.
