Application Fee
The application fees for JHTET 2026 vary based on the candidate category and paper selection.
- For General/ BC/ EWS Candidates (Paper I or Paper II Only): ₹ 1300/-
- For SC/ ST: ₹ 700/-
- For General/ BC/ EWS Candidates (Both Papers): ₹ 1500/-

Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria for the JHTET 2026 are categorized based on the level of teaching.
- Primary Level Class 1-5: Candidates must have 10+2 with at least 50% marks and must have passed or be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C. / D.El.Ed.).
- Junior Level Class 6-8: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and must have passed or be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C. / D.El.Ed.).
